Enriching Lives Through Music

In addition to producing inspiring evenings of music, the Bozeman Symphony also engages with diverse community members and addresses public needs, both within and beyond the walls of the concert hall. Our creative collaborations with community service, educational, and other artistic organizations create authentic relationships with youth, seniors, patients, and underserved populations, making our community a better place to live for all.

Read on to discover the full range of ways that the Bozeman Symphony connects with our community and uplifts lives. Many of these programs are possible because of strong community support and individual donations. We are committed to reaching out to the community in new and meaningful ways. If you or your organization would like to become involved with or sponsor a program, please contact our Education and Community Engagement Coordinator Cierra Wallace at cierra@bozemansymphony.org or (406) 585-9774.

The power of music knows no bounds. It is not just entertaining, but also engaging.

Winter Bloom

The Bozeman Symphony was proud to partner with Random Acts of Silliness in leading the 2024 Winter Bloom, Bozeman’s first free lantern parade celebrating creativity, community, and magic, on February 10, at Gallatin Regional Park. Once the sun set, a delightful parade of hundreds of illuminated lanterns proceeded along a mile of paths around the park’s pond, bringing a trail of lights into the darkness that could be seen from all directions. Beautiful handmade lanterns were made by Gallatin Valley artists, Montana State University art students, and area residents to inspire wonder and joy. The procession included music from Bozeman’s Symphonic Choir and members of the Greater Yellowstone Threshold Choir. An estimated 3,000 people attended.
