Educational Programs

Lifelong Learning for Every Age

Our education programming is designed to inspire, raise, and fuel the imaginations of young Montana musicians. We use music to ignite the spark for a continuing quest for knowledge. Special programs are geared towards our younger audiences who might not be ready to sit through two hours of a classical concert but who cannot wait to meet musicians or even play some instruments at an instrument petting zoo.

Introduce younger children to music with Symphony Storytime, a short story-based music program to engage children, especially ages 3-5, through music.

Designed for students in kindergarten through third grade, each year’s KinderKonzert program cyclically features a different instrument family so students can interact with a majority of the orchestra by the time they enter upper elementary school.
